Give Yourself a Raise

The most powerful deal about making a living in sales is that you give yourself a raise. February was an example of our salespeople giving themselves raises. With 65 pool sales, we sold the third most pools we've ever sold as a Company. Good job everybody.

Well in recognition of the great effort by all our salespeople, we've got a new pay plan.

It's really simple, for every increment of 25 pools you sell, you get a $50 bump for each pool sold. For example the first 25 pools you sell this year, you get paid $850, for the 26th pool you get paid $900, for the 51st pool you get paid $950, all the way up to 176 pools, you'll get paid $1200 per pool. If you sell over 200 pools, I'll see about giving you a pick of one of Ron's Mustangs.

At 100 pools you'll make $92,500. If you sell 150 pools, you'll make $146,250. Selling 200 pools will result in gross pay of $205,000.

James has a goal of 200 pools, and Lenny has a goal of 201 pools for the year.

Also, getting to 100 pools for the year is really important. If you reach 100 pools for the year, you'll start 2008 paid $900 for every pool you sell. If you get to 200 pools, you'll start 2008 getting paid $950 for each pool. And then there'll be $50 bumps for every 25 pools you sell thereafter.

Now remember, the only way we'll get there is if everbody approaches pool sales as a profession and you conduct yourself accordingly. Be straight with customers about the mess we make, turn in good files, and work your prospects. Every pool should be a Riviera Pool!
